Frequently Asked Questions

You've finally decided to indulge in the beauty treatments you've been eyeing for a while. You've taken the first step, but now your consultation is approaching, and you're wondering what questions to ask your beauty provider. While it might be tempting to say that you have no questions, we recommend against it. We value your inquiries as they contribute to our learning and understanding. At Jenny's Beauty Salon, we prioritise complimentary consultations with our experts because they enable us to better grasp your goals and surpass them!If you’re not sure what to ask us during your consultation, here are five questions you could start with:

As beauty experts, we like to specialise each treatment to enhance the beauty and wellness of every client. We like to create personalised treatments plans that help you achieve your ideal results, while we give you our recommendations. At the end of the day, we want you to be happy with your results while we safely tailor your treatment to YOU.

Since we customise our treatment plans to your individual needs, it’s important to research what you should do before and after your treatment based on the service you want. During the consultation, our beauty experts will give you before and after care instructions. This is an important question to ask your beauty expert.

The answer to this question varies based on which service you are selecting. The more you understand our treatment procedures and how we customise our plans, the better you’ll feel about how the treatment will go. This question is extremely important to ask, because it will set up your expectations and hopefully give you a positive treatment experience.

There’s good news and not-so-good news: treatments do not last forever. While this may seem like a downer, we actually consider this a good thing, because most people want changes over time.

For example, maybe you’re getting a hydrating facial in your youth to achieve today’s beauty standards, but in a decade or so, you may prefer a more specific one, to target other parts of your face instead. In other words, as we get older our opinions and treatment goals may change, so temporary results may be something you’ll be happy about in a few years when your own ideals change.

Yes. Like every procedure, there is always a possibility of side effects. You should always collect information about the side effects of any treatment. Depending on the service you select and how your body reacts to the treatment, side effects will be individual to you. That’s why it’s important to ask us about the potential reactions, and what you should realistically expect. Common side effects can include redness, bruising and swelling at the treatment site. This is why you should always ask your beauty expert about the potential side effects and the duration of potential side effects associated with your own treatment.
